National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA is an U.S. agency within the Department of Commerce. It is a scientific agency that is focused on studying the oceans and atmosphere.  NOAA has thousands of employees who work on weather warnings, charting the oceans, and conducting research on the environment with a focus on mankind’s impact.

Power Systems & Controls was awarded a contract to provide rotary filters for a NOAA maritime research vessel. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration needed PS&C rotary filters to provide clean, isolated and conditioned power to some of their oceanic research equipment. When awarding the contract, NOAA stated they selected PS&C because of our low price, long equipment life cycle, and our ability to work with their internal engineering group on coming up with the best possible solution for their unique application.
