Power Systems & Controls (PS&C) Founded

In 1965, Power Systems & Controls Inc. (PS&C) was established by CAT and Virginia Tractor in response to a need by Caterpillar to build a series of machines that would bridge the 8 second gap of time from utility outage to the diesel generator being synchronized on-line. Based in Richmond, VA, PS&C has been working in the power quality field ever since. Our electrical power offerings have grown over the decades and we have added a full line of custom enclosures that are used for our individual products, as well as, complete integrated systems.

Power Systems & Controls is fully staffed consisting of degreed engineers, service technicians, master electricians, quality control personnel and an experienced qualified support team. PS&C management is composed of professionals with long-term PS&C experience, as well as, others recruited from large, high technology companies in related fields. This combination provides the blend of talent and experience necessary to serve our growing markets. PS&C is committed to our customers and their success.
