PS&C Protects Intel

                                                              

Intel Corporation is an American technology company located in California. They are one of the world’s largest manufacturers of semiconductor chips, which are required for computer systems to operate. Intel was founded in 1968 by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore.

Power Systems & Controls will be supplying large 1MVA rotary uninterruptible power supply systems to provide protected and conditioned power to the critical manufacturing plants. They required rotary because of the industry leading up time, 100% electrical isolation and our ability to support the equipment anywhere in the country. We are proud to support Intel as they create the next generation of computing hardware.

Exxon Corporation is an oil and natural resources company. The company was founded in 1973 when they replaced Esso and changed their name to Exxon from the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. Exxon is one of the top five oil companies in the world.

PS&C Acquires Traffic Safety Systems – VASCAR

                                                            

Power Systems & Controls is proud to announce the acquisition of Traffic Safety Systems, Inc. Traffic Safety Systems is a Virginia corporation, formed in 1971 for the purpose of developing and marketing various traffic and highway safety devices. In 1976, Traffic Safety Systems developed and began marketing the VASCAR-plus, an improvement on the original VASCAR.

Traffic Safety Systems soon contacted Power Systems & Controls to produce prototype models of the new VASCAR-plus. PS&C has since been heavily involved in the production and engineering of VASCAR-plus® systems and after this acquisition will be the sole manufacturer of VASCAR-plus® speed enforcement computer systems. The latest in VASCAR technology, the VASCAR-plus® III will complete the family of “Time Distance” devices. Currently over 30 states and several countries use VASCAR to support their speed enforcement laws.

Duke Power is an electric power holding company in the United States. Power Systems & Controls will be providing equipment in support of one of their power plants. Due to the sensitive nature of their operations, we are unable to provide any additional information at this time.

Power Systems & Controls will be supplying 415Hz rotary frequency converters to provide power conversion and conditioning for their computer centers. Due to the sensitive nature of their operations, we are unable to provide any additional information at this time.
