Guideform Specification
Rotary Filter Cut Sheet
System Description
The Series GRF is designed to provide a high degree of electrical isolation between incoming utility and the secure load. The Government Rotating Filter (GRF) consists of a motor, generator, insulated coupling, power components, control devices and monitoring systems built into a single sound enclosure suitable for installation in a computer room environment.
The motor-generator set and associated controls provides a means of electro-mechanically isolating, and filtering disturbances in the AC power source from the protected load. The design encompasses total DC electrical isolation and minimize AC coupling for frequencies below 15 kilo Hertz.
