Power Systems & Controls (PS&C) will be travelling to CeBIT 2012 in Hanover, Germany from March 6, 2012 – March 10, 2012. CeBIT is the largest and most internationally represented computer expo in the world. PS&C will be at CeBIT to present our computer grade Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, as well as, other power conditioning solutions for data processing and data support.

Power Systems & Controls has a long history of supporting Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C. operating as Qatar Airways with their 400Hz and 60Hz Frequency Conversion requirements. Qatar Airways is the stare-owned flag carrier of Qatar. They are headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. The airline operates all over the world and has over 100 international destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, South America, and Oceania. Qatar Airways has a fleet of over 100 aircraft, 30,000 staff and is part of the Oneworld Alliance.

PS&C Expands with New Building

 

Power Systems & Controls is proud to announce the expansion of its 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facilities in VA with the addition of a new property located on 3203 Lanvale Ave, Richmond, VA. The acquisition, includes a 6,000 sq. ft. building, which PS&C will quickly convert for its Small Products Division. This newest division of PS&C has expanded rapidly over the years, growing much faster than initially projected. They expect manufacturing operations in this new facility to begin as early as next summer.

Regarding the recent purchase, CEO & President Tom Delano said, “We feel this acquisition is in line with Power Systems & Controls’ overall vision for aggressive long-term growth, in support of our mission to foster improved relationships with those whom we serve. PS&C understands we are only as successful as our customers and clients. We know this new facility will be the first step of many, in our plan to expand current Virginia based capabilities, which enables PS&C to far exceed previous expectations. PS&C Chile Representative

 

I-Systems S.A. in Santiago, Chile is one of Power Systems & Controls’ manufacturer’s representative for South America. I-Systems is run by Mr. Conrado Artizia O’Brien. I-Systems has a long history of working with Power Systems & Controls over the years; however, I-Systems has been inactive for some time now. However, activity in this region is starting to heat up again, so we excited to see what Conrado has in store in the coming months.

I-Systems S.A. will be specializing in Frequency Conversion, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Conditioning, Power Factor Correction, and our Control & Monitoring systems. They will be supporting Rotary Frequency Converter, Static Frequency Converter, Hybrid Rotary UPS, Rotary UPS, Static UPS, Flywheel UPSIndustrial Motor Generator Sets, Synchronous Motor Generator Sets, Synchronous Condensers, and Automatic Voltage Regulator requirements.
