MAC Engineering is a San Juan, Puerto Rico based corporation established by Miguel Arturo Cortes. The company’s primary interests are the sales, design, installation, and support of power quality products and services. Miguel Cortes is a Professional Engineer with a BSEE from the University of Puerto Rico. He also has a MSEE from John Hopkins University in Baltimore. His experience has been as an engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Baltimore. For the past three years, he has been working as a power consultant for private industry and the government of Puerto Rico.

Recently MAC Engineering hosted a series of seminars aimed at educating Electrical Engineers and consultants about solutions to problems concerning voltage sags, transients, power factor and harmonic distortion. From the many successes that MAC Engineering has experienced, its knowledge has grown proportionally to better serve its increasing customer base.
