The Series XC Hybrid Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system combines the best features of both Rotary and Static power systems into the ultimate in power protection available today. PS&C Protects Shell Canada

                                                      

Shell Canada has selected Power Systems & Controls’ Series MC RUPS to protect the critical operations at one of their refineries in Calgary, Canada. The Series MC provides clean, conditioned, uninterruptible power to the critical load. Also the modules are 100% on-line operation and 100% electrically isolated from utility to load. Shell Canada selected to purchase a Hybrid Rotary UPS for their needs because of its long end of life (EOL) and superior reliability.

Shell Canada is a subsidiary of Anglo-Dutch Royal Dutch Shell PLC and one of Canada’s largest integrated oil companies. Exploration and production of oil, natural gas, and Sulphur is a major part of its business, as well as, the marketing of gasoline and related products through the company’s approximately 1,800 stations across Canada.
