System Description

The Series SC provides continuous power factor correction without the use of capacitors. The precision control of the Series SC motor field produces the exact amount pf VAR needed to correct any power factor without switching transients and is not troubled by harmonic currents produces by solid-state motor drives. The Series SC using time tested rotary technology also helps overall power quality by reducing voltage transients and reducing problems associated with harmonic distortion found in many manufacturing processes.
