System Description

You monitor your batteries. to predict and prevent battery failure and support operation of your critical equipment. A battery management program that identifies and predicts battery failure reduces battery maintenance and battery replacement cost is the best way to ensure the integrity of your complete backup power system. The Series SENTRY is the most cost effective way to accomplish this task, and the system is virtually wireless!

The Series SENTRY is designed to monitor the DC voltage, AC millivolts and temperature of each sealed or wet cell battery in your equipment string. In addition to taking individual cell measurements, the Series Sentry will also keep you apprised of the overall string voltage and current, so you may monitor the internal resistance of each battery while under load. Battery manufacturers agree that internal resistance is the most effective factor for determining overall cell health and potential performance.
