The United States Geological Survey is an agency within the the U.S. Department of the Interior. They study and catalog the landscape of the U.S., natural resources and any natural dangers that could materialize and possibly pose a danger. The agency was founded in 1879 and is headquartered outside of Washington D.C.

Power Systems & Controls was awarded a contract to supply rotary uninterruptible power supply systems to protect some of their research equipment. The U.S. Geological Survey choose PS&C rotary UPS systems because of their familiarity with the system, its electrical isolation and the close proximity between Reston, VA and Richmond, VA. We look forward to supporting their operations and adding another agency to our growing list of satisfied PS&C USG customers.
