University of North Carolina is a public research university and was the first public institution of higher education in North Carolina. The school opened its doors in 1795 and is located in Chapel Hill. It has a beautiful campus and is part of the 17 campuses of the North Carolina University system.

University of North Carolina awarded Power Systems & Controls the contract to provide rotary uninterruptible power supply systems. They required power conditioning and power protection for a unique application for one of their research laboratories. The equipment was delivered ahead of schedule and according to the purchasing agent, “Exceeded all expectations…”.
