Power Systems & Controls developed our EMI Radio Shelter (ERS) for organizations that require EMI shielded environments. The EMI radio shelter is designed for areas with EMI applications such as airports, radio towers, and other important communications equipment. We build our EMI shelters with the last technology and meet all required standards and codes. PS&C’s EMI radio shelters are tested, proven, and can be designed for any unique application.

Electromagnetic shielding is the act of decreasing the electromagnetic field in a space by blocking the field with barriers made of conductive or magnetic materials. Shielding is applied to enclosures and shelters to isolate electrical devices from outside interference. Shielding is intended to reduce the electromagnetic fields and electrostatic fields within a given area very similar to a Faraday cage. NATO specifies electromagnetic shielding for computers and keyboards to prevent monitoring of critical information.

Power Systems & Controls also offers Acoustical and RFI shielding. Electromagnetic shielding that blocks radio frequencies and electromagnetic radiation is also known as “RF Shielding”. RF shielding enclosures and shelters filter a range of frequencies for specific conditions. PS&C’s ERS is offered in a 20’, 40’, or custom design footprint. Additionally, the User can work with our Engineering Department to create the ideal solution for their specific application.

PS&C’s EMI radio shelters are capable of being operated anywhere in the world because of their 50Hz and 60Hz dual operation topology. They are versatile and can be designed to handle any kHz requirement.
