Power Systems & Controls developed our Portable Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) for the most sensitive clientele in the world, the U.S. Intelligence community. The secure compartmented information facility was designed to be an enclosed area that is used to process classified “Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)”. SCI is classified information concerning intelligence sources, methods, or analytical processes. PS&C’s portable Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) are tested, proven, and manufactured to the highest standards required by the USG.

Construction, access, and monitoring controls of a SCIF have been defined by various directives, including Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs) 1/21 and 6/9, and most recently (2011) by Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705. ICD 705 is a three (3) page document, which implements Intelligence Community Standards (ICS) 705.1. Computers operating within a SCIF must conform to ICD 503. Furthermore, computers and other telecommunications equipment must conform to TEMPEST emanation specifications.

Our portable SCIF systems are designed and built to meet all these standards, including ICD 705 DCID 6/9, AMSG 788A (SDIP-27 & NSTISSAM Level II), Mil Std 188-125-2, EMI, Accoustic, RFI, and TEMPEST II requirements. The portable SCIF is offered in a 20’, 40’, or custom design footprint as our Engineering Department can provide any “turnkey” solution required. Furthermore, the exterior of the SCIF can be finished to look sophisticated for USG installations or “broken” and “rusted” as a decoy for clandestine operations.
